FoundIt — A Visual Memory Assistant for Your Home
I built FoundIt, an AI-powered visual memory assistant using Figma Make.
The idea came from a simple everyday frustration: we often remember what we own, but forget where we kept it. Keys disappear, passports get misplaced, chargers move between rooms, and important belongings end up in a "safe place" that we can never remember later.
The problem I wanted to solve was that physical objects are not searchable. While our digital files are organized and easy to find, our homes have no memory layer connecting items to locations.
With FoundIt, users can simply take a photo of an object, let AI identify it automatically, assign it to a room, and retrieve it later through search. Instead of feeling like a traditional inventory tool, I wanted the experience to feel more like Apple Photos meets Pinterest—a visual memory board for the things we own.
The biggest challenge was creating a frictionless experience. I wanted AI to do most of the work so users don't have to manually name, categorize, or organize every item.

As a kid, I waited all day to come back home to check our mail box. Waiting for surprises from family and friends.
PostBox is a playful digital mailbox that brings back the excitement of waiting for real mail!
Instead of instant messages, users send colorful postcards that arrive after a random delay, turning communication into a memorable experience. Designed with a childlike, joyful aesthetic inspired by paper letters, stamps, and illustrated postcards.
PostBox creates anticipation, surprise, and emotional connection in a world of instant notifications. The goal is to transform everyday messaging into meaningful moments people remember.

The Creation Process 🧠
1. The Idea 💡
While traveling around the world, I found myself exhausted by endless instant messages and emotional texting. I started missing the old feeling of anticipation — the excitement of waiting for a letter or postcard to arrive.
2. Sketching the Concept 📜
I grabbed a blank sheet of paper and sketched my vision: a playful digital mailbox that would bring back the joy of waiting and discovering messages.
3. Building the Foundation 📨
Using Figma Make and a carefully crafted prompt, I generated the initial version of the product and established the core user experience.
4. Refining the Experience 🧸
I iterated on the design based on my original sketches, focusing on a simple, childlike, and memorable aesthetic. Every detail was designed to evoke nostalgia, curiosity, and emotional connection.
5. Bringing It to Life ✏️
All animations and visual assets were created using Figma Weave. I combined generated images and motion elements to create a magical and engaging experience.
6. Share the Joy 🤩
Finally, I shared the project with the Figma community and friends to gather feedback and spread the experience of meaningful, anticipation-driven communication.

The random delay mechanic is such a clever design choice. It's what actually recreates the physical mail experience instead of just mimicking the aesthetics. The illustrated world you built around it really sells the whole feeling.
For my Figma Makeathon submission, I built The Postcard, a web app that transforms ordinary messages into personalized digital postcards.
Users can customize their postcard with fonts, colors, stamps, and photos, then instantly generate a unique link to share with friends and family. The goal was to make digital communication feel more expressive while keeping the experience simple and accessible.
Built using Figma Make, the project explores how customization and thoughtful interaction design can turn a basic message into something worth sharing.
