How a chat message updates a split-flap board

A quick look behind my Departures entry. The boards are meant for small businesses, so I tested them the way a holiday-rental host would use them: one message, no animation tool.

“New guests tomorrow: the Müller family. Check-out is Sunday at 11:00.”

Through the SVGator MCP that became three edits to named layers (brand-subline, page-a-row-2-price, page-a-row-2-status), applied in 10 seconds. The flap animation was not touched: at the next flip the new name and times fall into the flaps like any other text.

What makes it possible: every row is live text in a monospaced font whose letter spacing equals the flap pitch, so whatever you type lands one letter per flap.
