Knowing THE PROBLEM Is not Enough
Sometimes, a writer may clearly understand the problem but still struggle to find the right words.
I think this is where the foundation of a writer matters.
The more we work on our foundation, the better we become at understanding problems, analysing situations and finding ways to communicate.
But even with a strong foundation,
“There can be moments when we simply do not know what to say.”
I do not think that is a problem.
“Sometimes, a pause is important.”
“Not to delay the work.”
But to give both the writer and the client a positive gap to think, understand and properly check what needs to be communicated.
For me, this is like approaching the work as a problem solver.
Before crafting the words, we need to understand:
What is the client's actual problem?
What needs to be communicated?
How can the writing help to solve that problem?
Because good writing is not just about finding the right words.
It is about finding the right way to communicate the solution.
At the end, it comes back to one thing:
The client's problem needs to be solved.
That is what the writing should work towards.
