One of the fun project I worked on last year: PrepEasy.ai- An AI platform that helps people land consulting jobs at McKinsey, BCG, and Bain. The design challenge: Most AI coaching tools are chat interfaces. Clean, simple, familiar. But consulting interviews aren't text-based. They're face-to-face conversations where you're judged on clarity, confidence, and thinking speed. So we made a key decision: Show the AI as a hyperreal avatar, not a chat window. Why? Because the interface should mirror the real scenario. Design decisions: → AI avatar → Real-time scoring → Personalized onboarding → Community leaderboard AI product design isn't just about functionality. It's about matching the interface to the real-world outcome.
