I’m not a particularly mystical person, but sometimes that world crosses my path.
Not long ago, I had the opportunity to take a Design class where we were challenged to create our own version of a Major Arcana Tarot card, choosing both the card and a design style to represent it.
The Sun has always held a significant place in my life—not just as a concept, but as a tangible physical presence—so the choice was easy. From there, I had no doubt about choosing Art Deco as the primary style, as it evokes the same feeling in me that the Sun does: absolute passion.
My final design was built from an illustration created in Illustrator and refined in AI: a stained-glass window that captures the light passing through it and radiates it back out into the world.
Basing the sunburst on a stained-glass window instead of a flat sun icon gives "The Sun" its glow logic — light passing through and radiating back reads as motivated, not just decorative radial lines.
Earlier this year, the founder of Marlo Health 🐾 reached out with a simple ask: help edit some TikToks. They had ONE post live, 965 views, and 0 followers everywhere else.
What followed was a full content strategy build from scratch: pillars, cadence, on-camera coaching, a repurposing system so a founder with zero production capacity could still post consistently, and a whole lot of testing what actually worked vs. what just got comments.
TikTok is now at 449 followers with a top video hitting 191.8K views. Instagram and YouTube Shorts both went from 0 to real, growing audiences.
The part I'm proudest of isn't the viral video, it's the moment the data told us to post LESS. Going from daily posting to 3x/week, and getting way more selective, is what actually built the brand instead of just noise.
