A concept piece, made as a tribute.
It started as a kinetic type experiment. No client, no brief, just me exploring radial composition and motion with a single word.
Then something clicked. As the type spun out from the centre, an eye began forming in the negative space. I leaned into it and built the whole thing into a brand concept exploring AI.
I dedicated it to @Contra HQ on purpose. They're leading how our community thinks about AI and the future of work, so anchoring the concept to that conversation felt right.
The idea lives in that accident. Every word radiates from one point, and that point reads as an eye. A system built entirely from language that ends up able to see.

These design got my goat
Just wrapped up a custom lettering project I’m really proud of and it reminded me how powerful subtle typographic refinement can be.
Typography is rarely “finished” out of the box. The magic usually happens in the refinement: adjusting proportions, correcting rhythm, refining spacing, redrawing curves, balancing stroke weights, and creating custom interactions between letters.
Even the smallest typographic decisions can completely change how a brand feels. A strong wordmark should feel owned!

Last year, I helped build the foundation for Sleep or Die, from brand strategy and identity to creative direction and photography.
🤯 Just this week the brand has gone on to receive $1M in funding, and I’ve been seeing accounts with 75K–100K+ followers sharing the brand and some of the photography I created in those early stages.
While the brand has evolved since my initial work with them, it’s a nice reminder that the early stuff matters. The strategy, the visuals, the tone, the way a brand shows up before most people know who they are; it all becomes part of the foundation.
