Do different paths lead to the same result?
People often say “all roads lead to Rome.”
And I can see it clearly in design. Different fonts, colors, layouts, and strategies can all solve the same brief.
But in life, it’s not so simple.
Outside the canvas, the same starting point can lead anywhere.
One different step forward can take us in an entirely new direction.
Maybe not every road was meant to reach the same destination.
I’d like to believe the journey is what shapes where we arrive.
In design, yes. In life, the detours are the point. The journey doesn't just shape where you arrive, it shapes who arrives there.
Interesting perspective. I like how you connected design thinking with real life decisions. In design we often reach the same solution through different approaches, but in life even a small step can change the whole direction. The journey really does shape the outcome. Nice way to put this.

My logo was designed by graphic designer Marisa Espinheira, and this week I’ve been exploring a really interesting path: taking inspiration from the tiles of Porto, Portugal (where I live) and combining them with the patterns that Marisa created :)

I came across an amazing piece by Wes Cockx, which inspired me to create something similar.
The goal wasn't just to recreate the visuals, but to understand how the motion works and how to build it using Geometry Nodes in Blender.
It was a great opportunity to experiment, learn new techniques, and practice skills I can bring into future client projects.
Sometimes, the best way to learn is to take something that inspires you and figure out how it works.
