My engagement with open source has been primarily through deep consumption and architectural influence rather than direct maintainership. Throughout my career I've worked extensively with open source ecosystems — React, Vite, GraphQL, Tailwind, Storybook, Sanity CMS, Contentful — and have contributed back through issue reporting, community discussions, and pattern sharing.
More meaningfully, at Ten24 and One Business Consulting Group I've built internal component libraries and design systems structured with the same rigour as open source projects — versioned releases, Storybook documentation, reusable isomorphic components, and contributor-style governance. These were consumed across multiple teams and products, which required the same discipline as maintaining a public package — clear APIs, backward compatibility thinking, and thorough documentation.
I follow the React, Vite, and TanStack ecosystems closely, and that awareness directly shapes how I make architectural decisions — for instance, my adoption of Vite for micro frontend builds came from tracking its ecosystem maturity before it became mainstream.
