THE LAST ARMOR: 2125 reimagines an Italian suit of armor from The Metropolitan Museum of Art as an archaeological artifact discovered centuries in the future. I explored what happens when a historical object survives its civilization and becomes evidence of a world that no longer exists. In FLORA, I moved from the original armor into a futuristic archaeological interpretation, then developed the surrounding museum world with ruins, reconstructed history, and subtle evidence of the civilization that once created it. The final piece treats the armor not simply as futuristic technology, but as a surviving fragment of human history.
