Every day is Fry-Day 🍟 Spent the past week designing FRY-DAY ‘96, a fry kiosk built on one idea: a good fry stand is a small piece of shared memory. No sepia filter, no word “vintage” anywhere. Just a red-and-white check in three scales, a paper cone, a hatch with a sign that says “Order here. Dee’s watching.”, and Dee herself: perm, big fringe, scrunchie, hoop earrings, drawn flat in three colors. 🧡 Sometimes the best nostalgia is the kind that’s mostly a joke.

Running one check pattern at three scales is what turns it from a texture into a system. Did you set rules for which scale lives on which surface, like cone, hatch and signage?
