Sanity CMS Blog Integration — Social Bloom
Built a fully functional blog system for the Social Bloom marketing website using Sanity CMS as the content management backend, connected to a Next.js App Router site deployed on Cloudflare Pages.
What was delivered:
Set up and configured Sanity CMS as the headless content backend, including custom schema design for blog posts (title, slug, body, categories, cover image, author, publish date)
Built a complete blog section on the site with three page types — a blog index, individual post pages, and category filtered pages
Wrote and ran a content migration script to populate the CMS with the initial batch of articles
Published 10 SEO-focused articles covering B2B sales and lead generation topics
Organized content into 5 topic categories for easy browsing
Secured the Sanity API read token properly in environment variables so it never gets exposed in the codebase
Designed and built the blog UI including a featured post section, article card grid, sidebar, and full article layout — all consistent with the existing site design
Tech used: Sanity CMS, Next.js 15 App Router, Cloudflare Pages, TypeScript
