I created what turned out to be a very late entry into last month's "Runway — Pitch Contest for Shows That Don't Exist Yet". I wasn't selected, but that's not really what stayed with me.

The process reminded me how important it is to keep making things, even when the odds aren't in your favour, the deadline is tight, or the outcome is uncertain.

Sometimes the real win is showing up, following the idea, and putting something into the world that didn't exist before.

This project became a small reminder that creative growth rarely happens by waiting for permission. It happens by chasing the vision anyway.

For this challenge I built a mobile app called Field Signal, a field intelligence prototype for commercial real estate site visits.

It helps an investor or broker capture signals like visibility, access, tenant condition, and risk, then turns those observations into a live deal pulse and structured field memo.

How I used Stitch: I started in Google Stitch with streaming generation, used in place edits to refine the product flow and motion, and used a DESIGN.md file I prepared to keep the visual system tight across screens before pushing it into a live prototype through Google AI Studio.

Feedback: Stitch felt strongest as an iterative design partner. Streaming and in-place edits made it fast to move from concept to something that actually felt alive and interactive. Super useful & excited to see how this tool integrates with the creative process going forward!
