Problem: JSU was experiencing a large user drop off from Sign up moment to Set up moment. Users would land on the homepage confused, unsure what is the next step after installing. Current homepage had too many buttons and distractions that would make users feel overwhelmed and want to give up.
Solution: I built a standardized homepage pattern for first time users (Getting Started pages) with clear CTAs, links to documentation and examples they use to quickly start using the app. I also designed a library of plug and play automation templates. After 12 months, we measured a 21% increase in active users.
30+ pages, 3 weeks, and honestly one of my favorite projects in a while.
I'd been wanting to design something more tech-driven for a long time, and Gryd, a platform turning construction permit data into intelligence for insurers, lenders, and real estate teams, was exactly that.
Wireframes first, then UI across every page, fully responsive, with animation on the key screens, all built inside the brand the client had already set.
