Kokeshi set out to turn recycled Japanese textiles into a contemporary luxury fashion brand, with the budget of a startup rather than an established label. I developed the brand concept, Beautiful Violence, contrasting refined craftsmanship with samurai culture: heritage, strength, and rebellion within a high-fashion visual world. To bring that vision to life before physical production, I used AI to rapidly create high-end visuals and films defining the brand's aesthetic and storytelling, giving Kokeshi the presence and polish of an established luxury label from day one.

I used AI image-generation tools to create supporting visuals and speed up concept exploration, while every brand decision and final design was crafted by hand.
