For this project, I wanted to highlight the importance of family, love, and togetherness during the holiday season. My goal was to capture the warmth and joy of spending quality time in the kitchen, sharing conversations, creating memories, and enjoying one another’s company. I wanted the scene to reflect a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels connected, comfortable, and happy. Above all, I focused on illustrating how food has the beautiful ability to bring people together and turn ordinary moments into cherished memories.

OTO (音) | A Fictional Audio Archive ✨
What if headphones had been invented in Edo-period Japan? 🎧
I created OTO for the Recraft × Contra Archive Style Challenge, inspired by my love for traditional Japanese ukiyo-e illustrations.
I used historical Japanese prints to create my own custom Recraft Style, then imagined a series of vintage advertisements for headphones that never existed in that period.
I had a lot of fun bringing these imaginary scenes to life, from curious crowds discovering a new invention to people enjoying music in their own little worlds. I also experimented with subtle animations to make some of the illustrations feel like living woodblock prints.
To complete the experience, I created the music using Suno, drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese melodies to complement the atmosphere of the project.

I started this self-initiated project with a simple challenge: how do you make a rental-property brand feel connected to its world without reaching for the usual roofline or building icon?
I kept coming back to two ideas: access and space. A key represents the first; a floor plan represents the second. I brought them together in a compact symbol: a key whose head contains three rooms.
From there, I wanted the idea to do more than sit beside a wordmark. The rooms became a repeating pattern, the geometry informed the icon set, and the same shape guided a small logo animation. I also built out the wider identity across color, typography, product screens, social assets, and physical touchpoints, with guidelines to keep it consistent.
The part I found most interesting was making one idea work at different scales, from a tiny app icon to a broader visual system while keeping the result calm and clear.
Plotvera is a concept project, so the applications are illustrative rather than launch materials. I made it to explore how a focused brand idea can carry through an entire system.
