I think I’ve been using Contra backwards 😂
Most people come here looking for clients.
Meanwhile, I’ve been finding clients through Google, referrals, inbound, and my own network...
then bringing them here.
Contract signed.
Milestones set.
Payment handled.
Project starts.
Rinse and repeat.
And somehow I never really stopped to think:
I’ve been building a track record on Contra without actually trying to build a presence on Contra.
That feels like leaving something on the table.
So maybe it’s time to change that.
More work.
More building.
More sharing the stuff we’re actually creating behind the scenes.
And hopefully, for once...
I won’t have to bring the next client to Contra.
They’ll find me here first. 👀

Exactly! That’s what I’m realizing now haha. I’ve been using one half of Contra for years, time to see what the other half can do.
That backwards framing is sharp. Using the platform for contracts and payments while sourcing every client elsewhere is basically leaving half the tool unused. Curious what you'll post first once you start sharing the behind the scenes work.
That’s exactly it. I got so used to treating Contra as the place where the project starts after the client says yes. I’m thinking I’ll start sharing more of the actual process behind the work, from early concepts to what eventually gets shipped. Let’s see where it goes.
