The transition from flat 2D badge into the 3D ball and can is so satisfying to watch. What's your pipeline for blending 2D and 3D like that, do you build the 3D elements in 3ds Max first and composite in After Effects?

The flat badge illustration holding up under the 3D lighting and shadow pass is the hard part, most 2D to 3D combos end up looking like a sticker slapped onto a render. This one actually feels like it belongs in the same space.
