Which one would you put a record on?
One goes clinical: black stone plinth, a single beam overhead, carbon tonearm and a matte deck with nothing in the frame but the machine. The other goes domestic: walnut and brass on travertine, a lamp burning low, curtains and cabinetry filling in the room around it. One sells precision. The other sells memory.

The new one reads way more confident, "put your numbers on the wall" as a headline just sells the product better than the illustration-heavy version did. What was driving the rebrand, was it more about conversion on the landing page or repositioning the product overall?
I am currently working on a portfolio website design project and would like to know which direction the Hero section should follow.
Should the image be centered or on the right?

I’d choose the image-right version. It gives the headline a clearer reading path and leaves more room for a strong CTA without making the hero feel crowded.
Usually it's the smallest details that make the biggest difference.
Nothing that screams for attention - but together, it makes the whole piece feel more alive.
Good motion doesn’t always need to be noticed. Sometimes you just feel that it’s better.👌
