Manual takeoffs are often time-consuming, difficult to scale and prone to costly errors. At PAILABS, we are developing an AI-powered platform designed to bridge the gap between architectural drawings and accurate, dynamic construction estimates.
In this demonstration, PAILABS Structural analyses a 2D blueprint, extracts room dimensions, generates structural components, applies material specifications and produces:

I'd flag any disagreement between a printed dimension and a measurement inferred from the drawing's scale before it reaches the takeoff. Does your workflow send those conflicts to an estimator for review?
Thanks for raising this. We’d want those conflicts flagged and routed to an estimator for review, with both measurements and the drawing reference shown clearly. The discrepancy should be resolved before the quantity is included in the takeoff. How do you handle this review in your current workflow?

I'd use the human approval step to capture corrections, not just a yes/no decision. If a reviewer changes the extracted lead details, does the workflow update Airtable and the reporting record before sending the email?
