Your website is not your marketing strategy.
A tourism business can have a beautiful website and professional photographs. It can rank on Google, have thousands of followers, and still struggle to generate bookings. Because a website is not the strategy. It is part of the conversion system.
Before I look at design, I look at six questions:
Positioning - Is it immediately clear why I should choose you?
Distribution - How are potential customers finding you?
Pricing - Does the offer make commercial sense?
Trust - Have you given the customer enough reason to believe you?
Visibility - Are you reaching the right audience?
Conversion - Have you made it easy for them to actually book?
A beautiful website that fails to answer these questions is simply a beautiful brochure.
The objective isn't to make your tourism business look good online. It's to make the business work commercially online.
That is where strategy begins.
