Kids donβt defeat fear by reading advice.
They understand it better when they can see it, shape it, shrink it, rename it, and laugh at it.
Thatβs the idea behind Monster Movie Studio β a cinematic interactive cartoon experience where children turn big fears into funny little animated monsters.
Instead of building another dashboard or basic kids app, I wanted this to feel like a playable cartoon episode.
A child can:
β create a clay-like 3D monster
β choose what made the monster feel big
β drag magical tools onto it
β direct a tiny cartoon scene
β shrink the scary shadow
β turn a roar into music
β make the monster dance
β transform it into a tiny helper
β print a movie poster
β share a gentle parent note
The whole experience is designed around one principle:
Every action should speak.
Not just buttons.
Not static cards.
Not a form with cute colors.
A tap should change the scene.
A drag should transform the monster.
A completed action should feel cinematic.
A child should feel like they are directing a tiny animated movie.

I built an anonymous corner for the internet. It's called the Fruit Market. ππ
Every visitor leaves behind a unique fruit that represents them.
You choose a fruit, give it a label, add a few pieces of identity, and answer a prompt about something you're carrying, longing for, or wishing someone understood.
Then you place it on the shelf.
The result is a market full of anonymous human artifacts:
A mango who is missing home.
A peach who is terrified of graduating.
A dragon fruit who is searching for purpose.
The idea came from a question:
How deeply can we understand each other when names are removed?
Built with Figma and Figma Make on my humble phone and tablet. My goal was to create a whimsical, imperfect, yet vulnerable space that feels somewhere between a community bulletin board, a missed-connections page, and a message in a bottle.
