An exploration of dynamic movement and atmospheric depth. This piece captures the powerful energy of horses in motion, focusing on the interplay between light and the surrounding dust to create a cinematic, almost dreamlike atmosphere.
Technical Focus:
• Capturing Motion: Emphasizing the fluid anatomy and powerful stride of the horses to convey speed and strength.
• Atmospheric Rendering: Using soft tonal gradients and charcoal blending to create a realistic 'dust' effect, providing a sense of depth and environment.
• Light & Shadow (Chiaroscuro): Utilizing strong backlighting to define the silhouettes and textures of the horses against the hazy background.
This work demonstrates my ability to bring movement and life to traditional graphite and charcoal mediums, creating visual stories that feel both grounded and epic.

Inspired by minimalist sculptures, I put together this seamless looping animation. The focus here was entirely on rhythm, clean form, and soft shadows as the sphere navigates the twisting spiral of geometric planes.
Sometimes keeping things strictly black and white is the best way to dial into pure motion.
The soft shadows on the black and white spiral make the loop feel really smooth.
Should I go for left or right? Focusing on updating and finishing up my portfolio... and then I came across this crossroads. Another alternative is to make them switchable themes through a toggle, but I still need to decide which should be the default.

Left is better because the text is readable, the overall blue background is not flashing to the eyes as compared to the right one.
For the top right button " Start a project ", you can add some animation so that it stands out and encourage users to click on it.
