Voted dark mode. For a crypto tracker specifically, the candles and gains data pop more against black, and it just feels closer to what people already expect from trading interfaces.
Crypto dashboards need maximum clarity in small spaces, and you nailed the spatial balance here. Second style feels a bit more frictionless for quick asset scanning
Both look great. Dark mode is super easy on the eyes for quick checks at night while light mode looks clean like a modern banking app. Having it automatically match the phone’s system theme would be perfect.
Dark Mode, because it removes visual clutter and makes the portfolio balance and price changes the absolute focal points, enabling faster, more accurate scanning while moving.
Loves the graph on dark!
Dark is the right default for a glanceable finance app: less glare, better OLED battery, and the red and green deltas read louder on a dark field. The thing I would pressure-test is the light variant's number contrast in direct sunlight, since that is exactly when people check prices on the move.

I like both, but would go with the pill because of the functionality on Mac, it would be better than the notch.
