how is it so far with getting details correct?
Its pretty good, but in my opinion with image and video generation you need to be flexible and work with its decision making.
If you try to force your will I find you end up a) either wasting time or b) results that lose the overall aesthetic you are going for

The motion blur on the horse and rider is what sells it, most AI generated action shots still look frozen and stiff. Curious how consistent 8.2 is when you push for movement like that across multiple generations.

The galloping horse shot has surprisingly convincing motion blur for an AI still, MidJourney 8.2 is handling dynamic action way better than earlier versions. Are you doing much post-processing in Photoshop after generation or mostly prompt-refining straight out of MJ?
Straight MJ output to video. I am finding being too detailed or forcing your will in image to video actually produces worse results vs working with the model and giving it some more room to make decisions.
I think that you're totally right! It really gives very good results, I'm really impressed.

AI Spec Ad
This spot was created entirely using AI tools, from start to finish — no cameras, no actors, no shoot.
It began with a base image generated in ComfyUI, building out the visual concept of "Sleep Analysis" — a human face transformed into a data dashboard, with sleep metrics, heart rate, and apnea alerts layered directly onto the skin, as if technology could read the body in real time.
From that image, the motion and narrative were built in Seedance, animating each interaction: the tap on "Sleep Score" that triggers a purple-and-orange gradient of light, and the cut to "Sleep Apnea," where everything goes dark and a scanning light sweeps across the face as she sleeps.
The result is an exercise in AI-driven creative direction — showing how a product campaign, in this case built around the concept of wearable-free sleep tracking, can be fully constructed using generative models, from the first frame to the final animated piece, while maintaining visual consistency, cinematic lighting, and a clear narrative in just 15 seconds.
No humans were filmed. No locations were rented. 100% AI, from image to video.

The idea: what if France's heritage sportswear house revived the Minitel — the terminal that connected millions of French homes from 1982 to 2012 — the way a maison reissues an archive icon?
Making it real: a numbered edition of 50, hand-restored in Marseille, with a full campaign world, a working storefront, and a soundtrack — built end-to-end on Squarespace 7.1 / Fluid Engine.
How Finish Layer made it real:
Font Uploads — a custom pixel typeface as the "machine voice": title, ticker, teletext annotations. No code injection.
Block layering — the serif headline interrupted by the machine; the campaign broadcasting inside the terminal's screen, video layered under the frame.
Pinned hero text — the composition holds through the scroll.
Block Animations — hover reveals hide edition serials behind the campaign cards (N° 07/50 — RÉSERVÉ).
Block Hiding (Mobile) — desktop gets the theater; mobile gets a streamlined vertical flow.
Beyond the layout: a fully functional storefront built with real commerce settings — 50 units in inventory, limit 1 per order, so the scarcity story is enforced by the system, not just the copy. (Concept project: nothing ships, no payments are processed — the store demonstrates the commerce build.) Plus an original French-electronic track — the hold music of 1990, composed for the terminals — closing with a scroll-scaled banner: « MONTE LE SON. »
