A job search lives across five different tools that donât talk to each other. So I made one that does.
Itâs called HeffOS. One place for the whole thing: tracking roles, cold outreach, the materials you have to write, project management, and interview prep. All of it sharing the same context, so youâre never starting from scratch.
The thing I kept running into is how disconnected it all is. The role youâre tracking already knows enough to draft the outreach. The contact you saved already has what it needs for the email. The interview youâre prepping for is the one youâre actually applying to. Thatâs the entire point of HeffOS.
I designed the whole system end to end, the flows, the structure, the interaction model, and built it into a real, working app with Claude Code.

Skill Assessment Matrix helps designers answer three simple questions:
⌠Where am I today?
⌠What are my strongest skills?
⌠What should I focus on next?
The product guides users through a complete career planning flow:
đŚđđ˛đ˝ đ [Career Goals Setup] Users define their career goals and desired direction
đŚđđ˛đ˝ đŽ [Self Assessment] Users evaluate their current skills across multiple competency areas
đŚđđ˛đ˝ đŻ [Summary] The system generates a personalized overview highlighting strengths and growth opportunities.
đŚđđ˛đ˝ đ° [Roadmap Builder] Users receive a personalized roadmap and can further customize it by adding their own skills
đŚđđ˛đ˝ đą [PDF Export] The final roadmap can be exported as a PDF and used as a practical career development plan.

This project is based on more than 5 years of research into Skill assessment frameworks. The primary foundation for this work was the Figma Community Skills Matrix documentation, supported by dozens of additional public frameworks

[ PROBLEM ]
In a busy world filled with work, responsibilities, and constant distractions, many people lose touch with their emotions, needs, and personal goals
While journaling can improve self-awareness and well-being, traditional journals are not always practical to use every day
[ SOLUTION ]
I created Digital Journal that makes self-reflection simple and accessible
The app helps users:
đ Track mood and energy
đ Reflect on daily experiences
đ Practice gratitude
đ Capture thoughts, memories, and dreams
đ Build greater self-awareness over time
The goal was to combine the convenience of digital tools with the warmth of a scrapbook-style journal
