Bottom up is clean..
Stretch out for sure.
Gonna be totally honest here. Due to lack of time, this was decided before I put this up for vote😬. We chose the stretch out for our intro in our YouTube videos. Glad to see it wasn't such a bad choice.

Going with stretch out. The horizontal expansion feels more natural for a studio name reveal. The bottom-up version is bold though, tough call.
Bottom up reads more confident to me, stretch out has a bit of rubber band energy that pulls focus from the wordmark itself. Curious how each would feel paired with real UI transitions though, a blank background is a pretty forgiving test.

Option2, but it depends on what kind of brand this is.
How much can you remove before an idea disappears?
The Aphrology mark started with the Venus de Milo.
I progressively stripped away detail, keeping only the curves necessary to suggest Aphrodite while simultaneously constructing the letter A, the initial of the brand.
The final symbol lives between recognition and abstraction.
Aphrodite → A → Aphrology.
