Option A looks more flawless, i wouldn't be supprised if option A get more percentage.
Apple is launching glass theme specifically because of this style.

Option A looks good but it depends on the brands theme.
Option B is usually the safer, more sophisticated choice. It will look great as a tiny favicon or on a billboard.

I choose option B as I always prefer usability over aesthetics, the option B logo can be used as a favicon in different colors with different backgrounds
