THE ALCUBIERRE EXPRESS: Making Spacetime Commutes Mundane
When you ask Al to imagine a warp-drive airline, it almost always reaches for the same visual language – neon lights, holograms and dystopian sci-fi.
But revolutionary technology doesn't stay extraordinary forever.
Eventually, it becomes infrastructure.
For the @Envato #EnvatoChallenge, I built Alcubierre Express – a fictional commercial airline based on the theoretical Alcubierre warp drive. The goal wasn't to make space travel feel futuristic. It was to make it feel routine.
THE HUMAN BY DESIGN MOMENT:
Early generations looked visually impressive, but they didn't feel believable.
Instead of pushing further into sci-fi, I went in the opposite direction.
I borrowed visual language people already associate with commercial aviation – clean corporate layouts, restrained typography, safety cards, boarding passes, airport signage, and travel advertising inspired by NASA's Visions of the Future poster series.
WORKFLOW:
Using Envato's creative tools, I built an entire brand system rather than individual images.
• Generated custom visual assets with Al
• Combined them with Envato stock
• Built a consistent visual identity through typography, colour, copywriting and layout
• Designed every asset around a real-world context instead of treating it as a standalone graphic

The warp travel ship kind of reminds me of this movie I grew up watching. It was a girl from Planet Zenon! The blue is almost alien like similar to Tron's futuristic tone. This is brilliant!!

For the Human by Design Challenge, I created Cronut Café; a conceptual bakery brand, to explore how AI can speed up ideation without replacing creative direction.
I used Envato's ImageGen to generate early logo concepts, then relied on my own judgment to refine the logo, typography, colour palette, and visual identity in Adobe Illustrator. Once the brand direction felt right, I returned to Envato to create mockups, also using VideoGen to bring the identity to life through motion.
The biggest decision was knowing what to keep, what to change, and what to throw away.
That's the part of design that will never change 🚀

The Cronut Café name and that latte art shot sell the concept before you even read the caption. Good call using ImageGen just for early concepts and pulling it into Illustrator once you had a direction, that workflow keeps the judgment where it should be.

Meridial — Wealth Management Platform
For Meridial, I designed a system where the one thing that matters — portfolio drift — always surfaces first, no matter how many clients an advisor is tracking.
Signal over noise, even at 200+ portfolios. ⚪
The challenge:
Advisors managing dozens of portfolios need to instantly spot what's drifted from target — without digging through spreadsheets or noisy dashboards that bury the signal in data.
A dark, grain-textured UI gives Meridial a private-banking feel instead of typical fintech blue. The landing page proves the product directly in the hero with live allocation and drift cards, while the dashboard extends the same card system into radar charts, composition breakdowns, and a weekly digest — built so advisors can scan hundreds of portfolios at a glance.
A case in making complex portfolio data resolve into one clear signal.
The dark grain-textured UI gives this a truly exclusive private-banking feel. Did you animate the allocation drift cards and radar charts using Jitter or native Figma prototypes?
