Do you know how much of that I made on Contra itself? $0 All of that is from my existing clients paid through Contra. So, if you can't land projects and you see someone doing well on Contra, don't be quick to bash yourself - they might indeed to well, but these numbers don't necessarily come from the platform alone.

This! I keep on telling people that networking outside of Contra helps a ton as well. Most of my clients are from my network that have been invited to Contra. Don't just use one channel of course lol

This is really helpful to know, sometimes its a bit demotivating to see all the big $. Really appreciate your transparency in posting this, I imagine a fair few people will be grateful.

As far as I understand Contra’s approach is you need to get them some customers before they get you some clients. Which is fair, they do need to get clients posting the jobs from somewhere

Yep! Makes perfect sense! I work with a lot of Spanish clients, so there seems to be a bit of a barrier there. Definitely will try to onboard some when I see the opportunity though.
