New UGC video, edited and produced for my own portfolio. Check it out below!
P.S.- You wouldn’t know it from the final cut, but I misspoke the company’s name in the raw footage. Fixing was mandatory of course. Attention to detail matters.

I don’t always share feedback publicly, but this one felt worth sharing.
After producing a video for St. Vincent de Paul, their Executive Director left this comment, and it reminded me why I love what I do.

I produced and edited this “About Us” video for St. Vincent de Paul to clearly tell the story of their mission. This is the tail end of the video. The whole video is too long to post here, unfortunately.
Thoughtful editing is what brings the pieces together into a cohesive, unforgettable story.
This was produced in 2019 with captions added recently for accessibility using Descript.

Switching gears from course development, here’s a meaningful project I worked on for the YWCA.
My client’s goal was to tell a clear, human story using photos and videos they already had, plus a few new clips I captured, all brought together with simple, intentional editing.
Every project is different, but some of the core goals are the same. I keep the message front and center, focusing on the intended audience.
Here’s the final version.

Here’s a great example from a 30 video training course I developed for a real estate brokerage in 2020.
I was tasked with building a course that taught agents how to simplify their on-camera workflow using only their phones. The goal was not to make them filmmakers, but to help them feel confident enough to record short updates for clients and social media using real, raw, everyday videos.
I built each lesson with: • a single goal • a simple demonstration • a realistic, repeatable action
Keeping everything approachable not perfect was key.
This clip is one of the quick actionable lessons from that series (always shared with permission).

I created a 30 video training course for a real estate brokerage that needed simple, short, approachable lessons for realtors and staff with no video experience. Using data from my work as a video editor, producer, and smartphone video coach, I built the course from scratch, including lesson flow, titles, filming, and editing while working closely with my client.
He requested videos be filmed with a phone, using the same tools his team would use. He wanted the content to feel real not polished. Because this was early 2020 and Facebook was their main platform, I produced the course in a horizontal format to fit their desired platform.
This project highlights my ability to design and edit practical, training courses that meets client needs and platform requirements.
Here's one of the videos (shared with permission).

Here's an in-the-moment video I recorded for YouTube shorts after feeling inspired. This is a great example of me speaking on camera in a come-as-you-are vibe. This is me without an outline or a script.

Even videos made for presentations can benefit from captions, making videos more accessible to everyone. This older video (made in 2019) got a bit of a refresh as it still inspires to this day but needed captions.

Just finished editing this reel for Facebook. The goal was to edit for clarity and add captions. This started out as a 10 minute video.
