A blood orange soda came back.
Shelves cleared in eleven minutes.
Officials urged the public to remain calm.
Friday morning, a phone outlived the news cycle.
Its charger was reported missing, presumed retired.
Saturday, 12:01 a.m.
Cold brew hit the shelves.
Nobody went home.
None of it happened.
All of it made the front page.
🗞️ Every launch wants to be news.
Most of them get a banner.
I couldn't find a single newspaper in SVGator's template gallery.
So I built one.
The Bellbird Times.
The Kestrel Herald.
The Nightjar Post.
Three papers.
One template.
Zero redraws.
Retype the headline, swap the photo and the logo.
Every word is live text. Every layer has a name.
The motion never changes.

The newspaper format is so smart for a launch. It makes any product feel like breaking news, and the writing is as good as the motion. Three papers from one template with zero redraws is the perfect proof. How did you keep 1,038 layers organized? Did you use a naming convention from the start?

A Friday pick from the archives. I made this for Whale a few months ago, and it’s still close to my heart.
The task was to explain a product with several features without making viewers work to understand it.
I kept the structure simple: the problem, the main solution, then the extras.
First, scattered company knowledge and the same questions being asked repeatedly. Then, how Whale puts answers inside the tools teams already use. Recording processes and training quizzes come later, once the main value is clear.
That order matters. Viewers should understand why they need the product before learning everything it can do.
I took the same approach with the animation: calm transitions, focused UI, and time to follow each action.
Still proud of this one. Not because I squeezed everything in, but because I gave the important parts enough room.
Apple Watch → Dynamic Island → Widget → Desktop Card → Mobile.
Same concept, different screens. Exploring how one UI adapts across devices.
