Behind every clean SaaS explainer is a messy first draft. For my latest project, I started with a product that had a genuinely complex workflow the kind of thing that takes users three paragraphs to explain to a friend. My job was to turn that into 90 seconds that communicate with users and convert.
Here's the process I lean on every time: understand the product deeply, write a script that leads with the user's problem (not the feature list), storyboard the key moments, then design and animate with real UI in mind so it feels like the product not a generic template.
The result isn't just a "nice video." It's a first impression that makes people go "oh, I get it now." That moment is the whole point.
If you're a SaaS team sitting on a product that's hard to explain, that's exactly the problem I love solving.
