Give a presentation's fallback plan named owners before the room fills.
In this kit's fictional speaker-session example, Taylor keeps a short no-slide outline, Jordan holds the backup PDF, and Avery confirms the handover cue with the moderator. That makes the fallback specific enough to rehearse.
For your next technical check:
• Open the final deck and backup in the actual room or agreed remote setup
• Record the audio and connection result, with evidence and the checker
• Agree what happens if slides, audio or the connection fail
• Name who holds each backup and who gives the handover cue
• Keep every unresolved prerequisite tied to a session ID, owner and next check date
Technical readiness is one part of the review. In the same fictional example, a different session still needs a measured rehearsal before the coordinator can mark it ready.

Write the browser and device coverage before calling a website ready to launch.
A fictional studio is refreshing its portfolio. Its desktop gallery works in Chrome, but that check leaves mobile navigation, Safari and the downloadable project brief untested. The release owner needs to see those gaps before making the launch decision.
Build the test scope around visitor journeys:
• Define the exact site section and release version
• List what a visitor must complete, such as opening a project, navigating back and downloading its brief
• Choose browser, device and viewport combinations, with a reason for each
• Give each test case and browser/device combination its own tracker row
• Agree which failures block release and who can approve an exception
If time runs short, record the untested coverage and its owner. A passing desktop case cannot stand in for a mobile case that nobody ran.
