Automated AI FAQ Assistant for SaaS Companies | OpenAI Chatbot, Customer Support Automation & Zapier Integration
A growing SaaS company needed an AI-powered customer support solution to reduce repetitive support tickets, improve response times, and provide instant answers to users across multiple communication channels. The client wanted a scalable AI FAQ assistant trained on internal company documentation, onboarding materials, and product knowledge bases.
To address this challenge, I built a custom AI chatbot and workflow automation system using OpenAI, Zapier, Notion, and Slack. The AI assistant was trained on structured company documentation stored in Notion and designed to provide fast, accurate, and conversational responses to customer inquiries in real time.
The project involved creating an intelligent AI support assistant capable of answering frequently asked questions, handling onboarding queries, assisting users with product navigation, and escalating complex issues to human support teams when necessary. Using OpenAI API integration and conversational AI workflows, the chatbot delivered human-like responses that improved customer satisfaction and reduced support workload.
I implemented Zapier automation workflows to synchronize customer interactions, automate notifications, trigger support processes, and streamline communication between systems. Slack integration allowed internal teams to receive alerts, monitor conversations, and collaborate efficiently on escalated support requests.
The AI workflow automation solution helped the client reduce response times, improve customer engagement, and create a scalable customer service process powered by generative AI and intelligent automation.
