I designed a complete book cover for The Message I Was Never Supposed to Read by OJSTAR, including the front cover, back cover, and spine. The design uses warm sepia tones, cinematic imagery, and bold typography to create a mysterious atmosphere that reflects the book’s suspenseful theme. I also incorporated the book synopsis and author biography into the back cover, ensuring the overall design feels cohesive, visually engaging, and suitable for publication.

Introducing PRANA — a fine jewellery visual identity ✨ In Sanskrit, Prana, means force of life. A tree is a symbol of life. A crystal is a symbol of jewellery. Combined, we have a crystal tree - the concept behind the logo. Built from nothing but squares.

Started as a pencil sketch, finished on a grid.

This mark began on paper with loose, blocky shapes. Once the form felt right, I rebuilt it in Illustrator on a strict square grid so every step, gap, and corner lines up. Pathfinder merged the pieces into one solid shape, then I adjusted the spacing by eye until it held up from favicon size to large format.

The stepped form feels digital without chasing a trend. It's flat, one color, and works on dark or light backgrounds, in print or on screen.

Spacing by eye on top of a strict grid is a nice tension. Did you keep one square module for the whole mark, or did the gaps end up needing their own smaller unit?
