I designed and built TacoCraft, a modern, dark-themed mobile app for a premium taco restaurant. It covers the whole experience, from first launch to placing an order, in a fast, polished interface.
The Challenge Food ordering apps often feel crowded and generic. A restaurant needs an app that matches its brand, makes ordering quick for customers, and gives staff and owners the right tools behind the scenes.
The Solution TacoCraft is a role-based app with one clean experience for customers, kitchen staff, and administrators.
Key Features
Branded onboarding: a bold welcome screen with the tagline “Artisanal Craft. Instant Heat.” and a quick “Get Started” flow.
Role-based access: users choose to continue as an End Customer, Kitchen Staff, or Super Admin, and each role gets its own tools and permissions.
Personalization: a spice preference slider and dietary profile options (Gluten-Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, Keto, Dairy-Free) tailor the menu to each user.
Biometric login: secure Face ID / Touch ID verification for fast, safe access.
Curated menu: food cards with photos, ratings, calories, prep time, and category filters (Birria Queso, Street Tacos, Loaded, and more).
Easy ordering: featured dishes, customization options, and one-tap “Add to Bag”.
Live order tracking: a delivery status banner so customers always know where their order is.
AI flavor suggestions: a smart recommendation card that suggests dishes to match each customer’s taste.
Responsive on iPhone and Android: a smooth, consistent experience on both.
Design Approach A dark interface with orange accents, bold typography, and appetizing food photography gives the app a premium, energetic feel that fits the brand.
Result A professional, ready-to-launch app concept that shows how a restaurant can offer fast ordering, personalization, and secure access in one product.
