AFTER DARK 🕯️ a different dating app 💀🧛🏻♂️
It's 11:47 PM. You make a profile, start swiping, and five strangers want to match with you. Some of them aren't
strangers. Some of them aren't alive. Chat with your matches, choose your replies carefully, and see who still wants you
when the clock hits midnight.
Features used: CLI + GPU Canvas (both)
Rive CLI: the whole game was built in code with an AI agent (Claude Code), using RML markup for the layout, the state
machine, and the data binding.

a branching chat with 24 lines per character, which never repeat back to back
a game clock counting down to midnight
a haunted UI that glitches and corrupts the closer midnight gets
procedural sound with a mute toggle
a death screen that tells you who unmatched you
Data binding: one App view model drives every screen, from the profile intro to the deck, chats, midnight, and START OVER.
GPU Canvas: five custom WGSL shaders handle the photo distortion on the profile cards, the old-paper texture, the screen
corruption, the tombstone, and the midnight scare.

For the @Rive Halloween Challenge here on Contra, I've channeled my inner demons to create a spooky 8-ball pool game called 'Ghoul Table'. 🎱
It was built entirely in Rive using the new CLI, 3D objects, shaders, physics and more... and it ships as a .riv file under 10MB!

Delivery vs Zombies is my entry for the Rive Halloween Challenge with Contra. 🧟🍕
A one-level runner set in Buenos Aires on a full-moon night: Matilda has to deliver a pizza through a city full of zombies, with werewolves howling from the rooftops and fog rolling in, for an app that never stops rushing her. At the end, the app prints your receipt, with deductions.
Made from scratch over nine days for this challenge:
Rive CLI: the whole file written in RML from the terminal with Claude Code. 291 commits, checking every change with headless screenshots and pushing back and forth with the Editor.
GPU Canvas: a custom WGSL shader for film grain, chromatic aberration and lens blur, tuned to hold 60 fps.
Scripting for the game loop and physics, Data Binding to dress every zombie at random, State Machines for characters and UI.
The agent was fast, but its art came out generic. So it blocked out the shapes, and I redrew, rigged and animated everything by hand in the Rive Editor, adapting Vero Beltrán's original characters so they read from far away. Matilda squashes on every landing, the zombie bite runs 52 frames, your scooter parts stay where you got caught, and the receipt prints line by line. The UI comes from a design system I built in Claude Design. Original chiptune music.
Playtested with friends until the jumps felt right. English and Spanish, effects and audio can be switched on and off while you play. Desktop only for now.

A Halloween arcade game where you're the ghost who puts out the street.
Slip into a charred pumpkin, grow a body of roots and then stomp, punch and slam all the lights. Last light out… and the portal opens.

I've always wanted to make real games, and Rive finally lets me. I drew the characters and the street, built my own Claude Code system to direct a team of agents, judged every round and finished it by hand. And it was so much fun. This is just the start and I'm still learning.
How I built it:
• Rive CLI: character, 3D world and intro written in RML, signed and bound to editor files
• GPU Canvas (WGSL): a 3D street with 21 lights, night, volumetric light and bloom, a flame-lit 3D pumpkin head, fog body, punch fire
• Luau scripting: live kinematics, Rubberhose limbs, 3D projection of every joint
• Data binding: one Game view model across three files and the page
• State machines: possession, actions (stomp, punch, giant fist, burn-out), the intro
• Audio: the master's voice (ElevenLabs) and effects inside the files
• Rive Editor: faces, actions and intro finished by hand
