AI didn’t replace product teams. It moved the hard part.

Before AI, the bottleneck was production: PRDs, wireframes, UI, backlog, code — all slow.

Now AI generates drafts in minutes. The bottleneck is judgment: the decisions that turn output into a product people actually use.

Judgment = • choosing the user + job-to-be-done • defining the outcome (what changes for them?) • cutting scope to the smallest shippable proof • picking a success signal (activation, repeat use, $) • holding the quality bar (trust, errors, accessibility)

That’s why roles are shifting: PM = bets + evidence. UX = behavior + trust. UI = system + states. Dev = validation (tests/security).

AI gives speed. Judgment gives direction.

With AI tools, anyone can spin up a web app in minutes. But making it feel premium and intuitive? That’s where the real work is.

For the challenge, I built Wandrr, a luxury AI travel planner. Because the technical execution is so fast now, I spent my time where it actually matters: studying UX patterns on Mobbin.

My biggest takeaways from this "Inspo → Build" process: AI still needs your taste. My first AI-generated draft was cluttered and felt like a basic "tool."

To elevate the app to a "luxury experience", I used my secret weapon, Mobbin, to study a beautifully structured app. Feeding its layout as my UX baseline completely transformed the design.

The future of building isn't writing better code, it's curating better design! 🎨
