Bob's been philosophizing about the Contra x Rive Interactive Character Challenge while he waits for the results. Philosophy isn't really his strong suit.

On a more serious note, this challenge has been great. Seeing so many good entries is genuinely motivating, makes you want to experiment, create, and just have fun with it. Don't tell Bob, but I'm already happy with how this turned out.

I so impressed and inspired by the amazing work I've seen here on Contra! The challenges let me experiment with tools, I probably would other wise never use. Now I just have to kick myself in the butt, and stop being a big scared baby, finally finish and submit. Happy Designing to Everyone!

For this challenge, I created KUMO, a playful toy brand from scratch 🧸✨

I designed the toy characters, developed the branding, created custom mockups, and designed a website to bring the whole world together. I used Envato throughout the creative process for visuals, assets, experimentation, and refinement, while Suno helped me create the background music 🎵

From the toys to the website, I wanted every detail to feel playful, cohesive, and part of the same nostalgic world.
