Bringing an Idea to Life: The Loading Collection
The Loading Collection started as an idea to create more than just journals—it became a brand centered around growth, reflection, and becoming the next version of yourself. Through Squarespace, I transformed that vision into a luxury digital experience that blends storytelling, design, and ecommerce into one cohesive brand presence.
The Loading Collection is a luxury ecommerce website created to showcase a collection of guided journals designed to inspire personal growth, self-reflection, and confidence. My goal was to transform three journals into a cohesive, editorial-inspired brand experience using Squarespace. Through elegant typography, cinematic visuals, and thoughtful storytelling, I created a website that feels both premium and inviting while making it easy for visitors to discover and shop the collection.

Instead of a static pattern I built a fluid animation system: lines that continuously flow into one another, the way AI evolves through new thoughts and ideas. One system, endless moments, the same waves that breathe on the website also carry a conference wall or a product reveal.
That's my bar for an AI-driven brand style: not "does it look techy," but "does it behave like the product."
Curious how other designers handle this: when your identity is animated or generative, how do you keep it recognizable without freezing it into a template?
That line about one system with endless moments really lands, especially paired with the waves visual. Did you build the animation in After Effects directly or block it out somewhere else first?

Project Description
This project is a professional medical writing website built on Squarespace, designed specifically for pharmaceutical companies and clinical teams. Drawing on over 20 years of pharmacy experience and 3 years dedicated to medical writing, the site communicates scientific precision and regulatory compliance through clean typography, a calm color palette, and clear service positioning. It includes a homepage, a services page featuring four core offerings — Clinical Study Reports, Regulatory Submission Documents, Patient Education Materials, and Medical & Scientific Content — an about page highlighting relevant certifications in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacovigilance, an educational resources section, and a contact page for consultation requests.
How Finish Layer tools were used
I used Squarespace's built-in design tools to customize the layout, typography, and color palette across the site, creating a cohesive, professional look tailored to a pharma and healthcare audience. The design focuses on clarity and trust — key priorities for the target audience of pharmaceutical companies and clinical teams.

Designing specifically for pharma and clinical teams gives the site a very clear audience. How did that audience influence the information hierarchy on the homepage?
OMGGG!! Why is Squarespace sooo easy to use?? 😭 I genuinely opened it thinking I'd have to spend hours figuring everything out, but it was the complete opposite. This was literally my first time using it, and I had to record the whole experience because everything felt so smooth and surprisingly satisfying. Safe to say... I had way too much fun building this. 🤍
