I’m Guy, the guy… yes, I’m the Guy 😉
Designer with 15+ years of experience and founder of Yug Studio. I went full-time freelance 3 months ago, focusing on branding, web design, and video editing to offer complete brand solutions. I also shoot photos and videos at events as a side hustle and hobby.
Based in Barcelona (and of course a Barça fan). I look for the perfect work-life balance to enjoy life at its max: rock climbing, mountain and beach days, and simple moments in nature.
Happy to be here and looking forward to connecting with more people on Contra!
Hey Guy, rock climbing surely isn't for a faint hearted! 😬
Curious, what's your tool stack?
Mostly Figma + Framer/Webflow for all UI/UX and web projects.
Adobe CC for branding, video editing and photography.
Adapting depending on the project.
What are you working with?

I wanted to make a photography website that felt more like an experience than a portfolio.
So I built CINÉRA — a cinematic photography studio website with a 3D gallery, interactive archive, real availability, and a complete booking flow.
You can explore the work, pick a date and time, add your shoot details, and get booked without the usual back-and-forth.
On the studio side, there’s a dashboard to manage bookings and inquiries, plus automatic booking confirmations to take a bit of the repetitive work off the photographer’s plate.
This was built for an appointment-based business challenge, and honestly, I had way too much fun making it.
I Just Created NOIRÉ 🔥
A Coffee Brand Built Around the Pause.
NOIRÉ is a premium café brand built around a simple idea:
Great coffee should feel like a moment of pause, not another part of the
routine.
The project explores a complete visual identity, packaging
system, takeaway cups, coffee bags, tote bags, menu design, café applications and lifestyle campaign direction.
Instead of relying on the usual loud coffee aesthetics, I
built NOIRÉ around deep charcoal, warm ivory, soft graphite, refined
typography, subtle botanical illustrations and quiet editorial compositions.
The visual language is intentionally dark, tactile, and understated - giving every touchpoint the feeling of a slow morning, a quiet table, and coffee worth taking your time with.
From the cup in your hand to the café around you, every detail was designed to make the brand feel like a ritual.

Digestive health for little ones doesn’t need to look clinical to feel credible.
For Belly Balance, I took the brand in a more joyful, approachable direction — using soft colors, playful illustrations, and a clean packaging system to make the product feel friendly without losing clarity.
The goal was simple: turn a functional product for babies and toddlers into something parents would feel good choosing every day.
