A part from the Landys promo I animated. The arc paints itself out of job photos, then collapses into the app feed.
Do you think that style matches the theme?
The way the arc paints itself out of the photos before collapsing into the feed has a nice build-up-and-release rhythm to it. Did you time that reveal to a specific beat in the audio, or was the pacing locked before sound came into the mix?
Timed to the track. Music came first, the arc lands on the downbeat and the collapse sits on the next hit. Animating to a locked audio bed beats retiming a finished scene.
A Pixar animated explainer video created for BackstagePass to show how creators can connect their content with their fans in a more engaging way.
I worked on the full video from scene development to final delivery including character design and consistency, Pixar-style environments, AI animation, visual storytelling, transitions, pacing and final editing.
The project runs for over 6 minutes with multiple locations, character interactions and product-focused scenes while maintaining the same visual world throughout.
