A still lake and one peak carry the calm. Technical type carries the precision. A halftone texture ties them together.
The halftone texture over the mountain makes the calm security message land without feeling cold.
Thanks! I think the same—the filter also adds softness to the image, and the pattern represents the more analytical side together with the typography.
The monospaced headline keeps the calm from going soft, which is a nice trade-off against that misty lake. Did you test the stat row at lower contrast, so the numbers don't compete with the peak?
