I designed and built a modern, responsive website for CLS Drywall & Painting, a Santa Barbara contractor with more than 20 years of experience. The goal was to turn that experience into a strong digital presence that builds trust and makes it easy for potential customers to request an estimate. The project included a custom dark visual style, clear service organization, mobile optimization, and focused calls to action for residential and commercial clients.

What actually moved the needle wasn't chasing the score — it was going back through old proposals and noticing I was writing to sound impressive instead of answering the actual technical problem in the brief. Once I started solving the thing nobody explicitly asked but clearly needed, everything got sharper. The ranking followed, not the other way around.

Designed a modern, accessible website concept for a fictional nonprofit combining exceptional dog care with vocational training for neurodivergent and autistic adults.
The goal was to create a digital experience that feels warm, calm, trustworthy, and easy to navigate while balancing the organization’s services with its mission.
What I focused on: • Mission-driven storytelling• Sensory-friendly & accessible UX• Responsive desktop + mobile design• Clear navigation and calls to action• Dog care & vocational program presentation• Impact, stories, and community sections
