A founder recently showed me a product page that took three full screens just to scroll through the feature tiers.
They wanted to show every detail at once. I proposed keeping the primary features visible and moving the deep technical specs into a clean overlay.
The goal was to fit the core value on a single screen. That exact approach works best on high-pressure technical builds.
Richard brought me in to develop the site for Fundamental AI. The company was coming out of stealth mode with a tabular AI model.
I had less than a week before go-live. The Figma files were still changing daily.
The layout required complex code components and a cross-page careers filter connected to an Ashby ATS plugin. If I tried to force every detail into the main views, the build would have missed the deadline.
I isolated the heavy logic into specific components to keep the initial load light. When design updates came in, I gave an honest technical assessment and built faster structural alternatives.
The site went live exactly as the AWS press release dropped. They announced a $255M Series A and a valuation of $1.4B.
