Recently someone told me: โyou only show wins.โ
So today ๐โ๐ฆ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐ถโ๐ซ๏ธ๐ญ that was silently holding my profile back ๐
Check before / after screenshots first
My Discovery score jumped from 127 โ 145 And Profile quality went from 62% โ 100%
And hereโs what actually happened:
I didnโt โgrow overnightโ I fixed something I didnโt even know was broken
You can actually reduce your score if your case studies are not structured correctly.
In my case, my work cases were silently underperforming, and I had no idea ๐ณ

If you have Contra Pro โ youโll see warnings about whatโs wrong. If not โ you might not even notice that score reduced

So I fixed it โ and this is the result above.

The 150-character-minimum-per-case tip is gold - I bet a lot of people don't realize thin case studies are quietly tanking their score. Did you rewrite all your cases at once or tackle them one at a time?
The Behance vs Dribbble case study breakdown is genuinely useful, I didn't realize single-image uploads without description text could be quietly tanking the score. Going to audit my own case studies tonight. Did you find the 150-character minimum applies per section or per whole case study?
With my 5+ years of experience in creative design and branding. I found this tip helpful as I embark on my journey on global freelance opportunities, especially on Contra. after serving direct contacts and limited clients.

Built Trust Leak Explorer with Wonder, from rough concept to live site integration.
For my company, Crossfire CX, I needed a way for potential clients to quickly understand what we diagnose before building AI into their customer experience. I started in Wonder exploring a standard readiness-review format, but through Wonder Chat the idea turned into something more useful: an interactive diagnostic where you pick a customer experience scenario and see how trust is gained or lost downstream. From there I used Wonder's shader generation for the hero treatment, planned the integration into the existing site, then used Wonder MCP with Codex to translate the final frames into code on GitHub and deploy the site live via Cloudflare Pages.

Just hit 100/100 on my Contra profile score.
Took some focused effort to get every section dialed in: portfolio projects with real case studies, services with clear deliverables and pricing, reviews from actual clients, and a bio that says what I do without the fluff.
If you're sitting at 70-80 and wondering what moves the needle, the biggest jumps for me came from:
Adding detailed project write-ups (not just screenshots)
Listing tools and roles accurately on each project
Getting client reviews after completed work
Setting up productized services with real pricing
Not a vanity metric. Clients filter by profile strength, and a complete profile just looks more trustworthy when someone's deciding who to message.

My client generated over $100K with their old checkout page and a $45 product ๐ณ
This redesigned version doesn't just look better, it introduces:
- stronger value positioning
- strategic cross-sells
- added value
This alone creates opportunities to significantly increase average order value (AOV) and even support higher pricing (2x current price).
Great design isn't just about aesthetics, it can directly impact revenue (if you study how).
