Entered a branding contest for The Grand Theatre, a historic venue established in 1911. The challenge was building a full Art Deco identity system that honored over a century of cultural legacy without feeling frozen in time. Designed a complete brand suite spanning a primary emblem, vertical blade sign, horizontal marquee wordmark, badge variants, and a pattern and texture system rooted in the theatre's own architectural DNA. Every mark was built to perform across light, dark, full color, and mono environments, from grand exterior signage down to ticket stock and print collateral.

Just wrapped up a custom lettering project I’m really proud of and it reminded me how powerful subtle typographic refinement can be.
Typography is rarely “finished” out of the box. The magic usually happens in the refinement: adjusting proportions, correcting rhythm, refining spacing, redrawing curves, balancing stroke weights, and creating custom interactions between letters.
Even the smallest typographic decisions can completely change how a brand feels. A strong wordmark should feel owned!

Last year, I helped build the foundation for Sleep or Die, from brand strategy and identity to creative direction and photography.
🤯 Just this week the brand has gone on to receive $1M in funding, and I’ve been seeing accounts with 75K–100K+ followers sharing the brand and some of the photography I created in those early stages.
While the brand has evolved since my initial work with them, it’s a nice reminder that the early stuff matters. The strategy, the visuals, the tone, the way a brand shows up before most people know who they are; it all becomes part of the foundation.

Different feelings when you see brand you worked for grow to success
A recent project I’ve been working on a full brand and website system for a logistic consultancy company.
Honestly, this was one of those projects where getting the balance right mattered more than making things look “fancy”.
The industry is highly technical, so the challenge was creating something that felt modern and premium while still maintaining trust, professionalism, and credibility.
A lot of focus went into structure, clarity, user experience, and simplifying complex information without stripping away the expertise behind the company.
