Designed a high-converting YouTube thumbnail from scratch in Photoshop, focusing on proven click-through rate principles — expressive facial reaction, bold typography hierarchy, and a fiery explosion background to create urgency and energy. After finalizing the original, I used AI tools to rapidly generate three stylistic iterations of the same concept, exploring how different visual languages affect viewer perception. The result was a set of four distinct executions: a polished photo-realistic version, a warm hand-drawn illustration style, a gritty anime/cyberpunk aesthetic, and a detail-rich content creator workspace scene. This project demonstrates both my core design fundamentals and my ability to leverage AI as a creative iteration tool to present clients with multiple directions quickly.

Entered a branding contest for The Grand Theatre, a historic venue established in 1911. The challenge was building a full Art Deco identity system that honored over a century of cultural legacy without feeling frozen in time. Designed a complete brand suite spanning a primary emblem, vertical blade sign, horizontal marquee wordmark, badge variants, and a pattern and texture system rooted in the theatre's own architectural DNA. Every mark was built to perform across light, dark, full color, and mono environments, from grand exterior signage down to ticket stock and print collateral.

The tricky part with this one — financial advisors don't respond well to pushy marketing. So the whole thing had to feel credible and straightforward while still stopping the scroll in the first 3 seconds. Scripted it, shot it, and edited it with that balance in mind. These are t-shirt designs for GAIA — Voice of the Voiceless, an animal rights advocacy brand. The concept centers around a beagle, the most commonly used dog in lab testing, breaking free from testing equipment like syringes, wires, and electrodes mid sprint, paired with the line "Running Away From Animal Testing." Five mockup variations were explored, all on a purple tee with white graphics, each pushing a different illustration style from clean flat vector to detailed hand drawn. The strongest direction ended up being Image 1 with the boldest contrast and the most print ready flat graphic style.
