BLACK HOLE / 02 An evolution of the previous experiment. Two interpretations of the same phenomenon. Dark - feels dense, mysterious and cinematic. Light - feels calm, ethereal and almost weightless. Same gravity. Still exploring how images can bend, stretch and dissolve around an invisible force.

The gravitational lensing distortion around the silhouettes is the detail that sells the whole concept, it actually looks like light bending rather than a filter effect. Dark version wins for me, it makes the warping feel like it's swallowing the figure instead of just decorating around it.

Splitting the same silhouette into dark/dense vs light/weightless and calling it "same gravity" is such a clean way to visualize the concept — the inverted mode on the second one especially. Is this running as a real-time shader in Webflow, or are you pre-rendering these distortions with three.js and swapping frames?

This deserves more than just liking, this deserves to be featured! 🏆 The depth in these dark and light states is incredible would love to see these cinematic physics live on a Framer canvas.
