Experimenting. Exploring. Not knowing exactly what the outcome will be. PLAYING.
I started with paper: arranging, breaking it apart, and creating compositions. In that imperfect, analog process through randomness, mistakes, and trying again – something emerged.
Something real.
Fragile.
Human.
Once I had a feeling for where the journey was going, I could translate that feeling into words and create images for the book with Envato that carried the same emotion.
I was also able to quickly create mockups that gave me a vision of the final product.
And then I turned it into a small spot for the poetry book: inspired by memories of my grandfather reading poems to us when we were younger, and the emotions those moments created.
A personal idea, brought to life in a short amount of time with the help of the right tools.
That’s what Human by Design means to me: Humans decide what stays, what disappears, and what feels right.
It’s our curiosity.
Our experimentation.
Our need to play. 🤍

Élan Atelier Luxury Fashion Email Campaign
Created a premium email marketing campaign for Élan Atelier, a fictional luxury fashion brand, with the goal of introducing a new collection while reinforcing the brand's elegant identity. The project focused on clean layouts, refined typography, and compelling copy to create a polished customer experience from headline to call-to-action.
The campaign was designed with a minimalist aesthetic, balancing sophisticated visuals with persuasive messaging to encourage engagement and drive conversions. Every design choice—from spacing and colour palette to typography and imagery—was made to reflect the exclusivity and timeless appeal associated with luxury fashion.

For this design, I brought the Studio Kalili website to life using Squarespace's Finish Layer by layering in subtle animation across the page to turn a static layout into something that feels considered and dynamic without overwhelming the content.
The most intentional use of Finish Layer is the two-image interaction illustrating the core idea behind the studio's work: closing the gap. One image enters from the left, the other from the right, moving quickly at first and then easing as they meet in the center — fast enough to catch attention, slow enough to let the reader stay with the copy.
From there, hover states on buttons, text, and large images, plus scroll-triggered entrances, guide the eye down the page and give every interactive element a small, deliberate moment of response.
Squarespace's Finish Layer was used to add polished interactions across the website, creating a more dynamic browsing experience. Each interaction supports the overall experience while preserving the calm, editorial character of the Studio Kalili brand.
